I you have never surfed before then we start with the basics of beach safety, parts of the surfboard and how to catch a wave lying prone on your stomach. We break the surf lesson down into three sections so that you have time to soak up the information and put your skills to practice.
Once you have mastered catching waves and trimming (steering) the surfboard we then move on to standing up and riding a wave toward the beach. This is harder than it looks and takes lots of effort and practice to get it right. By the end of the surf lesson you can expect to safely control your board, catch a wave, pop up and ride it into the shore.
